Our take on the Street Triple 765
The 765 RS takes engine upgrades straight from Triumph's record-breaking Moto2 race engine program, and its triple makes a category-leading 128 HP with 59 lb-ft of torque. It is more responsive and faster accelerating than before, and it pulls hard everywhere in the rev range.
The RS adds the highest specification brakes and the most advanced handling setup: Brembo Stylema calipers on twin 310mm discs, fully adjustable Showa Big Piston forks and an Öhlins STX40 piggyback reservoir shock, on Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V3 tires. Optimized Cornering ABS and switchable cornering traction control, guided by an IMU that monitors lean angle, keep the grip where you need it.
It is precise and thrilling every time you ride, and it looks stunning parked at the curb.

Questions riders ask
Street Triple 765 RS or 765 RX?
Same 765cc triple and 128 HP. The RX adds Öhlins NIX30 forks, clip-on bars and a billet-machined top yoke for a track-focused riding position, with a 32.7-inch seat; the RS uses Showa Big Piston forks and a 32.9-inch seat.
What does it weigh?
414 lb with fuel, and the tank holds 3.96 gallons.

RS and RX compared

Choose the RX if track days are on your calendar. It adds an Öhlins NIX30 fork to the Öhlins shock, plus clip-ons that put more of your weight over the front, and reviewers say it handles like no other naked bike out there. It's a one-year model, in Matte Aluminum.
Choose the RS if most of your miles are on the street. It's the same 128.2 hp triple with the same Öhlins shock and Brembo Stylema brakes, and the taller bar keeps you more upright for the commute and the long way home, for $950 less.
More on these two
Which one fits your riding
The RS: The RS is the Street Triple most riders want on the road. It's a properly fast bike you can still ride to work: the triple loves to rev, the brakes have superbike bite, and the upright bar means your wrists don't pay for the fun on the way home.
The RX: The RX is for the rider who already knows their lap times. The lower clip-ons and the Öhlins fork move it closer to a track bike, and the reviewers who rode it at Barber came back talking about front-end feel. On the street it asks a bit more of you, because the riding position is more committed than the RS.
What the RX adds
Everything in the RS, plus:
- Öhlins NIX30 fork in place of the Showa
- Clip-on handlebars (Triumph lists them for the RX only)
- ABS Track mode, listed as standard (Triumph's RS page doesn't list it)
