Our take on the Meteor 350
Its long-stroke 349cc single delivers smooth, tractable power with plenty of bottom-end torque and an exhaust note that's distinctly Royal Enfield, and that thump is music on a slow cruise. It feels at ease at city speeds and simple to keep in its sweet spot, and the roomy riding position and neutral handling make it a pleasure to ride all day.
The low, wide seat is built for long rides, the classic teardrop tank holds nearly 4 gallons for long hauls, and 6.7 inches of ground clearance handles rough city streets. It's equally at home on a weekday commute and a lazy weekend cruise with friends along the coast, and that coast cruise is exactly where it shines.
What the reviewers say
“This motorcycle is gentle, gentle, gentle with a healthy helping of grunt for its displacement. This would be a wonderful first bike or second addition to someone's garage.”
