Our take on the Classic 350 and 650

The Classic 350 is pure Royal Enfield, inspired by the post-war G2 model of the 1950s, and it's a beautiful thing to ride. Its fuel-injected single has the distinctive thump the Classic is known for, smoothed by a balancer shaft so it stays relaxed at a steady cruise, and that thump never gets old. It's happiest on town streets and back roads, where its easy low-speed balance makes tight turns and parking lots simple.

A wide seat keeps longer rides comfortable, and 6.7 inches of ground clearance handles rough roads without fuss. The 3.4-gallon tank and simple, familiar controls make it an easy bike to ride every day, and its lines look right wherever you park it, outside a cafe or at the end of a long back road. Expect people to wander over and ask about it.

Questions riders ask

Classic 350 or Goan Classic 350?

Both are 350 singles. The Classic is the traditional version with its teardrop tank and casquette headlamp. The Goan Classic is the bobber, with mini-ape bars, a low-slung 29.5-inch seat, whitewall tubeless tires on spoke wheels and all-LED lighting.

Classic 350 or Classic 650?

The Classic 650 carries the Classic look onto the 648cc parallel twin, making 47 bhp and 38 lb-ft, and adds twin peashooter exhausts and a removable passenger seat. The Classic 350 keeps the single-cylinder thump with 20 bhp and 19 lb-ft, and that thump is a big part of its charm.

Does it have ABS?

Yes. Dual-channel ABS works with large-diameter disc brakes, mounted on a twin downtube spine frame that Royal Enfield built to ride strong and true. It's steady and predictable in everyday traffic.
