Advertising tools run only if you say yes. Your choices take effect straight away, on every page of this site, in this browser. You can change them here at any time, and turning something off takes the same number of taps as turning it on.
Your settings
Necessary
Always on. Keeps the site working: it remembers the choices you make on this page, makes forms work and stops spam with Cloudflare Turnstile, which uses no advertising cookies. These don’t track you around the web, and the site can’t work without them.
Measurement
On unless you turn it off. Lets Google Analytics, with its advertising features off, count visits and see which pages and bikes people use, so we can make the site better. When this is off, we still count page views with our own visit counter, which uses no cookies and stores no identifier or IP address.
Advertising
Off until you turn it on. Lets advertising networks and social media networks measure our ads and show you relevant ones on other sites. When this is on, they receive information about your visit, such as pages and bikes viewed and whether you sent us a form. California law can treat that as “selling” or “sharing.” Turning Advertising off opts you out of the sale or sharing of your information through this site.
Buttons
- Save my choices
- Turn everything off
After saving, the page shows: “Saved. Your choices apply on every page of this site.”
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honor it. Measurement and Advertising stay off, and we treat the signal as an opt-out of selling and sharing.
When we detect it, this page shows:
Opt-out signal honored. Global Privacy Control is on in your browser, so Measurement and Advertising stay off, and we treat it as an opt-out of selling and sharing.
While GPC is on, the Measurement and Advertising switches are shown off and cannot be turned on from this page. To change that, turn GPC off in your browser first.
Selling and sharing
We do not sell your information for money. When Advertising is on, the advertising and social media tools on this site can count as “sharing” under California law. To stop it, turn Advertising off above or use Global Privacy Control. This works for this browser and device.
We never include customers we arranged financing for in any advertising list.
Limit the use of sensitive personal information
The only sensitive information we collect (Social Security number, driver’s license and financial account details) comes from the credit application. We use it only to process your application and complete your purchase, never for advertising, and we don’t sell or share it. So there is nothing extra to switch off here.
Good to know
- Your choices are saved in this browser. If you clear your browser data, use a private window or switch devices, the site will ask again.
- Choices here do not carry over to our online stores, shop.socalmotorcycles.com and offroad.socalmotorcycles.com. Each store has its own settings.
- The credit application page never loads analytics or advertising code, whatever you choose here.
- Turning these off does not change what you pay or how we treat you.
