Pricing
How our prices work
Every bike shows one Total Price: our price plus freight, setup and the $85 document processing charge. It’s the number on the tag. Tax, license, registration, government fees, any finance charges and any electronic filing fee are extra.

What’s in the Total Price
Our price
The price of the bike itself. On a new bike, if it’s below MSRP, the listing shows MSRP and our discount too.
Freight
Getting the bike from the manufacturer to our campus. It depends on the brand and model.
Setup
Uncrating, assembly, fluids, a full pre-delivery inspection and a test ride by our techs. On a pre-owned bike, its preparation.
Doc fee
$85 on every bike with a price, for the paperwork: title, registration filing and the contract.
What’s added when you buy
Government charges that depend on where you live and the bike, so they can’t be in a price everyone sees.
- California sales tax at the rate for your address
- DMV registration, license and title fees for the bike
- The California tire fee
- An electronic filing charge for the DMV paperwork
- Finance charges, if you finance
Freight and setup vary
They depend on the brand and the model, so every bike page shows its own freight and setup, line by line, already added into its Total Price.
- No freight or setup fees on a listing means freight and setup are $0 on that bike, until the date it says. The $85 document processing charge still applies. A listing that waives only one of them says which.
- Demo bikes carry the normal fees unless the listing says otherwise, and show their miles.
- Pre-owned bikes have no freight and no setup; only the $85 document processing charge.
- No price shown? Then no fees either. Ask us and we’ll give you the total.
Factory cash and offers
When Triumph, Ducati, Royal Enfield or Suzuki puts cash on a bike, the bike page shows it under the Total Price with its end date and the price after it. The Total Price itself stays the full number, so you always see both.
Offers that depend on you, like a financing rate on approved credit or a program for military riders, are listed with their terms on our offers page. They’re worked out with you when you buy.
The price you see is the price on the tag in the showroom. The final deal is the one we work out together, in person, when you’re ready.
The fine print
Advertised prices are the Total Price of the bike, including freight, setup and the $85 document processing charge. Tax, license, registration, government fees, any finance charges and any electronic filing fee are extra. Each price is for the bike shown, identified by its stock number, and is good while that bike is available. Prices on the site are updated every night. If the price on the site and the tag on the bike ever differ, you pay the lower of the two.
