Our take on the Tiger 1200
The 1160cc T-plane triple makes 150 hp and 95 lb-ft of strong, responsive performance, and its lightweight chassis keeps it controlled and comfortable through a long day off the map.
The Desert Edition comes in Satin Granite or Crystal White with a desert-inspired design, and it is fully equipped.
The seat is 34.1 inches and the bike weighs 553 lb dry. Triumph Shift Assist makes every gear change quick and clean, and the semi-active Showa suspension keeps it settled on rough ground and smooth highway alike.
What the reviewers say
“The brakes are plenty powerful and have lots of lever feel which, along with the reactive suspension, lets the Rally be trail-braked deeper into the turn than you'd expect on a 21in front and long forks.”
MCNSimon Hargreaves, April 2024Read the review on MCN (opens in a new tab) “The standing position remains one of the best out there, meaning off-road and gravel shenanigans are child's play.”
MCNews.com.auWayne Vicko, August 2024Read the review on MCNews.com.au (opens in a new tab) “Fuelling is clean, and the triple offers bottom-end punch with top-end urgency.”
