Our take on the Bonneville T100 and T120

The T120 is a modern classic in the truest sense. Hand-finished details and an iconic silhouette sit on top of a 1200cc high-torque parallel twin making 79 hp and 77 lb-ft, so it pulls smoothly and strongly wherever you are in the rev range.

For 2026 the T120 moves to KYB suspension, with 41mm cartridge forks and twin KYB rear units, and gains Optimized Cornering ABS and a USB-C charging socket. It also sheds weight to 514 lb (down from 520 lb). Twin Brembo front calipers, ride-by-wire with Road and Rain riding modes, switchable traction control and single-button cruise control all carry over.

The low seat sits at 31.1 inches, the riding position is upright and natural, and the torque assist clutch keeps the lever light around town. Every ride, short or long, feels like a proper Bonneville ride.

What the reviewers say

  • “Looks aside, the Triumph is a great machine to ride, thanks to its relaxed, natural riding position, excellent handling, brakes, and a performance-packed engine that rumbles in all the right places.”

  • “The T120's handling feels just as composed as before, with the KYB suspension soaking up imperfections while providing a planted, balanced feel through sweeping curves and tighter turns alike.”
