Our take on the Tracker 400
Its responsive liquid-cooled DOHC single makes 41.4 HP and is made for agile urban riding and spirited backroad fun, with premium craftsmanship and authentic Triumph detailing throughout.
New for 2027, the Tracker rides on a lightweight chassis with 43mm upside-down Big Piston forks offering 140mm of travel, and a 300mm front disc with a four-piston radial caliper and ABS. The stainless twin-skin header gives it a crisp Triumph sound, and the analog speedometer carries an integrated LCD screen. It comes in Phantom Black, Racing Yellow and Aluminum Silver.
At 381 lb with fuel and a 31.4-inch seat, it is easy to manage at a crawl and quick to change direction, and the wide bars give you plenty of leverage. It is aggressive styling with everyday versatility built in.
What the reviewers say
“It turns out you don't need a bonkers engine to inspire hooligan antics. You just need enough pep, a wide handlebar, and a sporty(ish) upright rider triangle to encourage you to hunt apexes.”
RevZilla Common TreadRobbie Bacon, April 2026Read the review on RevZilla Common Tread (opens in a new tab) “The Tracker 400 is the more intuitive of the two. From the moment you sit on it, everything feels natural.”
Motorcycle.comSylvia Houston, April 2026Read the review on Motorcycle.com (opens in a new tab) “…it never feels wayward. It’s all predictable, all controllable, and it adds a layer of involvement that the rest of the 400 range doesn’t quite deliver.”
