Our take on the Guerrilla 450
It's punchy and light on its feet, it turns in with real accuracy, and it sits comfortably at freeway speed in sixth gear. Snapping it from one corner into the next is pure joy. The 2027 Apex sharpens all of that with a more committed riding position.
A 30.7-inch seat and a 57-inch wheelbase make it calm and easy to manage in traffic, and 6.7 inches of ground clearance shrugs off rough pavement. Dual-channel ABS, the Tripper Dash with full-map navigation, an LED headlamp and a USB-C port handle the daily commute, and Royal Enfield estimates 70 mpg from the 2.9-gallon tank. On this bike, the commute turns into the best part of the day.
What the reviewers say
“The Guerrilla 450 is simply a good-performing small-bore motorcycle that handles exceptionally well, produces impressive power for just 450 cubic centimeters, looks cool, and is just plain fun to ride.”
“…the Guerrilla 450 is a sharp turning bike, flicking from left to right quickly yet with a level of composure that has to be credited to the non-adjustable Showa cartridge forks.”
The 2027 range adds the Guerrilla 450 Apex, a sportier, road-focused take on the roadster. The 452cc Sherpa single carries over with 39.5 hp and 29.5 ft-lb.
Lower aluminum handlebar
The Apex gets a lowered, repositioned aluminum bar that tips you forward into a sportier riding position for sharper front-end feel. The seat and footpegs stay where they were.
Road tires
17-inch Vredestein Centauro ST+ radials replace the dual-purpose CEAT Gripp XL tires, with more grip on wet and slippery pavement.
Everything new
Street and Sport ride modes
Two recalibrated modes, Street and Sport, replace the Performance and Eco modes of the 2026 US bike. The bike now remembers the last mode you chose when you restart it.
Sportier bodywork
A color-matched front cowl, a sculpted, removable rear seat cowl and rim tape give the Apex a tighter look. It comes in Apex Red and Apex Black.

Questions riders ask
Guerrilla 450 or Guerrilla 450 Apex?
Same 452cc engine. The Apex adds a lower aluminum handlebar for a more forward riding position, sportier front and rear cowls, road-biased tires and Sport and Street riding modes. It comes in Apex Red and Apex Black.
What's the seat height?
30.7 inches, with 6.7 inches of ground clearance. Royal Enfield pairs it with a 57-inch wheelbase for stability and control at every speed, so the bike feels planted without feeling tall.
Guerrilla 450 or Hunter 350?
Both are roadsters on 17-inch wheels. The Guerrilla has the liquid-cooled 452cc engine with 39.5 hp and a round TFT dash. The Hunter has the air-oil cooled 349cc single with 20.2 bhp, a 31.1-inch seat and a 399 lb curb weight.

Choose the Apex if you want the Guerrilla in its sportiest form. A lighter, lower aluminum handlebar puts you in a more committed streetfighter crouch, the road-focused Vredestein tires change how it turns in, and the new Sport and Street riding modes let you pick how it responds.
Choose the Guerrilla 450 if these features aren't important to you. It's the same 39.5 hp Sherpa single and Tripper Dash, with a more upright bar, for $300 less.
More on these two
Which one fits your riding
The Guerrilla 450: The Guerrilla takes the Himalayan's liquid-cooled 452cc single and drops it into a light roadster made for city streets and the twisty roads around them. Reviewers keep coming back to how sharply it turns and how much punch it has for a 450. The upright bar keeps it relaxed on the commute, and it's an easy bike to grow with.
The Apex: The Apex is the Guerrilla for riders who want to push a little harder. The bar sits lower and further forward, so more of your weight is over the front and the steering feels more precise, but reviewers say it isn't so low that it wears you out on a longer ride. The front cowl and detachable rear cowl give it a sharper look parked outside the coffee shop, too.
