What changed for 2026
- Stiffer, lighter chassis. A redesigned tubular steel frame now pairs with an aluminum swingarm in place of the old steel one, adding rigidity and cutting weight.
- Showa suspension. New 1.7-inch Showa upside-down forks replace the old conventional fork, and twin Showa piggyback shocks with adjustable preload sit at the rear. Travel is 4.7 inches at each end.
- Stronger front brake. A larger 12.6-inch front disc with a radial four-piston caliper gives stronger, more progressive stopping.
- Cornering ABS and traction control. Lean-sensitive Optimized Cornering ABS and traction control, run by an IMU, replace the previous switchable systems. Off-road mode still turns off rear ABS for loose ground.
- Lighter wheels, dual-purpose tires. New lightweight aluminum rims, 19 inches front and 17 rear, cut unsprung weight and wear Metzeler Tourance dual-purpose tires for quicker steering.
- New dash and USB-C. A round housing holds an LCD with an integrated color TFT screen. The optional Bluetooth module adds phone, music and turn-by-turn navigation, a USB-C port is standard, and cruise control is a dealer-fit accessory.
- Sharper styling. A more angular 3.2-gallon tank with a new filler cap, new side panels, slimmer fenders, full LED lighting and a reshaped two-piece seat on a narrower rear subframe.
