Our take on the Bonneville Speedmaster
Forward foot controls, swept-back beach bars and a low 27.8-inch seat put you in a laid-back cruiser position, and the 1200cc High Torque twin rolls out 78 lb-ft so smoothly that every ride feels effortless.
For 2026 it comes in two bold new finishes, Sapphire Black / Crystal White and Carnival Red / Crystal White, and keeps its premium hardware. Showa 47mm cartridge forks and Brembo front brakes work with Optimized Cornering ABS and traction control, and ride-by-wire brings Road and Rain riding modes, single-button cruise control and a full LED headlight.
A new, more comfortable seat and the torque-assist clutch make long days easy, and the analog speedometer with LCD display keeps the cockpit classic. It is a cruiser with real Bonneville soul, happiest rolling down the coast with nowhere particular to be.
What the reviewers say
“Hinckley's potent p-twin puts more than enough pep in the model's step, but it's the relaxed riding position that truly sets the tone.”
A larger 3.7-gallon tank with restyled metal Triumph badges and a new filler cap, for more range and a broader stance.
Wider seats
Rider and pillion seats are wider, with deeper foam and contrast piping, for more comfort on longer rides two-up or solo.
Straighter handlebars
New, more conventional bars replace the old swept-back set, giving a more natural reach while keeping the relaxed cruiser feel.
Everything new
Cornering ABS and traction control
Lean-sensitive Optimized Cornering ABS and traction control, run by an IMU, for extra confidence in all conditions.
New LED headlight and USB-C
A brighter LED headlight with a daytime running light signature, plus a USB-C power socket in the cockpit.
Lighter wheels
New lightweight aluminum rims on the 16-inch spoked wheels cut unsprung weight for quicker steering response.
Sharper styling
Restyled side panels and intake covers give the Speedmaster a sleeker, sharper look.
