Both are sporty Triumph triples. The real difference is focus: the Daytona 660 is a sportbike you can live with every day, the Street Triple RS is a naked bike with a supersport chassis, 33.2 hp more and top-shelf suspension and brakes.

Choose the Daytona 660 if…
- You love the look of a full sportbike.
- You want real-world comfort for long canyon mornings.
- You want a friendly triple that loves a good rev.

Choose the Street Triple 765 if…
- You want more performance, and you'd rather sit up.
- You do track days or ride hard every weekend.
- You want an Öhlins shock, Brembo Stylema brakes and the lighter bike.
Which one fits your riding style?
Here's where the difference shows up on the road.
Weekend back roads
Reviewers say the Daytona handles much lighter than it should, and that it's comfortable enough to ride hard all morning. The Street Triple is 29 lb lighter, with 128.2 hp, an Öhlins shock and Brembo Stylema brakes.
The difference: The Daytona is the comfortable sportbike. The Street Triple is the sharper tool.

Track days
Both are at home on a track day. The Street Triple's supersport chassis and extra power make it the faster bike when the lap times matter.
The difference: For lap times, choose the Street Triple.
The commute
The Daytona's fairing keeps the wind off on the freeway. The Street Triple sits you up, with a wider view of the traffic around you.
The difference: The Daytona keeps you out of the wind. The Street Triple sits you up.

Is the Street Triple worth the step up?
It depends on whether you want a fairing or more performance.
If you love the sportbike look and want a bike that's comfortable enough for real life, the Daytona 660 is a great place to be.
If you want the stronger engine, the better suspension and brakes, and you're happy sitting up, the Street Triple RS earns its keep. The step up is $4,150 in MSRP.
Our advice: Sit on both. Fairing and clip-ons, or bars and more power: you'll know which one feels like you.
The best way to decide is to sit on both, back to back. We'll have them side by side for you.
