The Isle of Man TT races are almost here! The TT races are the oldest and most famous road races in the world and are the most fantastic motorcycle racing you will ever see. Qualifying starts Sunday, May 29th, and we will arrive on the island with our bikes by the Steam Packet Ferry on June 1st!
With that said, you can watch every qualifying session and every race on your phone, computer, or TV for less than $25 for the entire two weeks. TT+ Live Pass is the name, and you can purchase it on this link, https://ttplus.iomttraces.com/products/tt-live-pass. For those of you that know the TT races this is a must, and for those of you that have never seen any TT racing go to YouTube and check out some IOM racing. Once you see what TT racing is all about, you will want TT+ Live Pass too!
Cyndy and I will be riding a Tiger 660 Sport and a Bonneville T120 Goldline and can’t wait to get there. We will wave at the camera!
2023 Triumph Tiger 1200 Review - Eye of the Tiger
The old Triumph 1200 was considered an overweight, smooth-motored street bike more suited to sport touring. It had the will and looks to go off-road, but without the ability to do it well. Enter the new 2023 Triumph Tiger 1200 series, a machine Triumph has touted as “the most agile and maneuverable large adventure bike you can buy.” Does it stand up to this claim, and how does it compare to BMW’s venerable R1250 GS series?
What growls and snarls and rules the backcountry trails? Certainly not a three-cylinder adventure motorcycle? At least not historically speaking. At the press launch in March 2022, chief Triumph engineer Stuart Wood stood in front of our group in southern Portugal, touting his team’s latest iteration to a dozen journalists from the United States and Canada. Skepticism lurked among the group, as most of us had heard it all before.
