Our Assistant Accounting manager Danielle is leaving to move to Oklahoma. She has been with us for 13 years, and we love her and will miss her a lot.
It is so sad when someone leaves So Cal Motorcycles. We are so blessed to have several staff who have been here for over 20 years and many over 10 years. That is virtually unheard of for a motorcycle dealership. Most dealerships churn through employees.
I have been told many times that I shouldn’t get close to my staff, that it’s not good business. Well, I’m not made that way and have always treated my people like family. I’ll agree that has bit me in the butt a few times but overall it’s worked out well and made me, as well as them, very happy.
I feel so strongly that camaraderie and friendship are so important in the workplace. It is great for all of my staff to be comfortable with their jobs and know that I work beside them and not over them. It is so nice to have shop bike nights so our staff can ride motorcycles together and socialize.
Our staff is the reason we have the highest Customer Satisfaction Index in the U.S. We will always strive to treat our customers better than they could be at any other dealership.
Change is the only constant in life and staff will come and go. I wish Danielle the best and know that we will see her again when she comes to So Cal to visit.

2025 Ducati Panigale V4 First Look
A two-sided swingarm on Ducati’s flagship superbike is just the beginning.
On November 15, 2017, a new era began at Ducati. That day, production of the Panigale V4 started. The Panigale V4 is the result of an engineering project based on the supreme performance of the Ducati V-4 Desmo GP racer, and soon, the V-4 built a new, winning image for Ducati after breaking its V-2 tradition to challenge the world’s best multicylinder superbikes. Vastly renewed in 2022, Ducati’s Panigale V4 now has a new evolution for 2025.
The styling of the new Panigale V4 gets some inspiration from the most iconic Ducati sportbike ever: Maestro Massimo Tamburini’s Ducati 916. The connection clearly appears in the front section with the profile of the main air intake that goes down almost vertically to leave more free space between the front wheel and the body, with a gain in visual lightness.
The passion at World Ducati Week has never been greater: record attendance for the 2024 edition of the biggest Ducati event in the world
A crowd figure of over 94,000 was recorded during the three days of World Ducati Week 2024. The twelfth edition of the biggest Ducati event in the world thus rightfully enters the history of the Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer as the most well-attended ever. From Friday 26 to Sunday 28 July, Ducatisti and enthusiasts of the two-wheel world packed into the Misano World Circuit "Marco Simoncelli", arriving from every continent (86 nations represented) to share three days of celebrations and fun.
Claudio Domenicali, Ducati CEO: "World Ducati Week is the event that better than anything else embodies our brand's mission to offer memorable experiences to our enthusiasts, created around special bikes, which are a magical combination of technology and beauty in pure Italian sporting style. The numbers of this edition are extraordinary and are proof that the love for Ducati in the world has never been so strong. I want to thank every single participant, but also all the staff composed mostly of Ducati employees who, as usual, worked hard to make this incredible experience possible. Thanks also to all of Ducati Corse and in particular to the riders, the heroes of WDW, who made themselves available to the fans and gave us a show that is unique in the world like the Lenovo Race of Champions. The performance achieved by the new Panigale V4 is truly incredible: the fastest lap in qualifying was just 3.2 seconds away from the MotoGP race track record, which belongs to Francesco Bagnaia with 1m31.8s. Equally incredible is the determination with which Pecco once again proved to be the best, in a race where everyone had exactly the same bike.”
SUCCESSFUL MXGP OF FLANDERS FOR MONSTER ENERGY TRIUMPH RACING
Monster Energy Triumph Racing’s Mikkel Haarup has claimed his second fifth-place overall finish in a row, delivering a strong performance at the MXGP of Flanders. At the sharp end of the field in both races, the Dane placed fourth in race one before coming home seventh in moto two. Meanwhile, Camden McLellan secured sixth overall after landing on the podium in third in the opening race before finishing ninth in moto two.
One week on from competing at the hardpack circuit of Loket, Monster Energy Triumph Racing made their way to the infamous deep sand track of Lommel in Belgium for round 14 of the 2024 MX2 World Championship, where Haarup’s incredible fitness and sand riding skills were on full display in moto one.
