I have said it many times that I am the luckiest guy in the world because of the quality of the people I am surrounded by! My staff here at So Cal Motorcycles are an incredible group of people and are absolutely the reason we can call ourselves the best dealership there is.
Some of them have been with me over 20 years like Cyndy, Rob, and Danny with a many over ten years like Chris, Mike, Pooch and Berto. We have less employee turnover than any dealership I have ever known. I think the reason for this is we maintain a family atmosphere, are motorcycle enthusiasts and treat each other as friends all working towards the same goal.
So may places have employees there just to make a buck and are not vested in their jobs. I can proudly say that is not us! I watch our people interact with customers, read the glowing reviews we receive and burst with pride over our outstanding CSI (Customer Service Index) scores that are consistently the best in the country.
This motorcycle industry is an emotional business! Customers want to talk to excited, passionate riders that are working at what they love to do rather than just for money. We all ride and love to talk motorcycles. Also a shout out to our wonderful customers that make working here a blast.
This might sound like I’m bragging because I am! To be surrounded, every day, by this positive, enthusiastic, passionate, and proficient staff makes my life a joy. I’m the oldest, I treat them like my kids and they call me Pops. What a life!

COOPER & TRIUMPH ARE THE 2024 NATIONAL SPORTBIKE CHAMPIONS
Richard Cooper clinched the inaugural National Sportbike championship on his Triumph Daytona 660 at Brands Hatch, England, this past weekend (October 11-13). Backing up the capability of the new Daytona was Thomas Strudwick who also finished third overall in the series.
The championship has mainly been a tale of two riders; Cooper and Edoardo Colombi who, prior to the last round, had taken 11 of the 13 race wins between them. Coming into the two-race finale at the Kent circuit, it was Cooper who trailed his Italian rival by 21.5 points. But with increased points at this last event, it was all still to play for.
Bulega second at Estoril. Bautista goes from P11 to P2 but crashes ten laps from the flag. Huertas second in WorldSSP with Ducati, which secures the Manufacturers' title.
On the one hand, the second place is by Nicolò Bulega, the protagonist of a great race. On the other hand, there is disappointment in Alvaro Bautista, who crashes 10 laps from the end after a superb comeback.
These were the mixed emotions for the Aruba.it Racing - Ducati team at the end of Race-1 of the Estoril Round, the eleventh event of the 2024 WorldSBK season.
Starting from fourth position after a qualifying session complicated by the rain, Bulega makes a good start. Still, he risks going off track on the third lap after an aggressive overtaking move by Rea (Yamaha). The Italian rider remains focused, and thanks to a solid race pace, he recovers position after position, climbing to second place.
