Triumph Street Triple R wins the 2022 Daytona 200!
The Daytona 200 motorcycle race in Daytona Beach, Florida is maybe the most famous motorcycle race in the world, except for the Isle of Man TT. It is for Americans for sure! Triumph won this year, and that makes the 5th time since 1937 that Triumph has won the race. Triumph won in 2014 with the 675 Daytona and this year on the 765 Street Triple R.
To say this is huge is an understatement! This is the first time anyone has raced the Street Triple RS at Daytona. Also Triumph engines make up the entire field in the Moto GP Moto 2 class. They have proven themselves fast, reliable and a real performance brand.

There comes a time when we need a good reason to emancipate ourselves from the multitude of things that consume our busy (sometimes overflowing) schedules. Motorcycling has always been the component in my life that’s enabled not only slices of freedom to explore, but a way to experience joy for the ride.
Starting out as new riders we take our time, ease ourselves into motorcycling and accumulate the mental experience points and miles with a humble sized engine. My entrance into the life of two wheels was born in 2012, changing my commute from the tube to avoid the congestion of the Olympic games. Little did I know how much I would fall in love with motorcycling and the pursuit of two-wheeled freedom. When the time came to finally step up, nothing called out to me more than a Triumph motorcycle. A story of admiration, patience and years of appreciating the beauty of British engineering and premium attention to detail. The time finally came earlier this year to get my hands on the Street Triple R, a bike that exudes power with a tough, yet elegant exterior.
What can I say about the Street Triple R, that hasn’t already been said about jetpacks, bungee jumping and wakeboarding? They call it the ‘definitive streetfighter’ for a reason, as it’s nowhere short of adrenaline-charged euphoria, that bursts at the seams every time you twist the throttle.

Royal Enfield Scram 411 Unveiled
Long-rumored scrambler-style Himalayan variant is now official in Europe.
Having recently upgraded the bare-bones Himalayan adventure bike, Royal Enfield has pulled the wraps off its sister model—the urban-oriented Scram 411—to reveal a machine that shares the same simple appeal, but in a more attractive-looking package.
The Scram has been an ill-kept secret for some time, and its official specs come as little surprise; it’s based on the Himalayan, and Royal Enfield has made as few changes as possible to the major components. Affordability is key to the appeal of both the Himalayan and the Scram, and since every modification or factory retooling has a knock-on impact on the eventual price, those shared parts are to be celebrated, not shamed.
