TIDBITS / NEWS / EVENTS

I opened Southern California Triumph twenty years ago, April 4 th 2000. Everyone told me I was crazy and there was no way I would succeed. There were a whole six new Triumph motorcycles in the showroom because that was all I could afford with my tiny credit line. My friend Hector Cademartori displayed some of his fantastic artwork because I didn’t have the money to fill the walls with apparel and accessories. I was the only salesman, There was a Service Manager who also worked on bikes and Danny who is still is here as a master technician. And, my mother in law handled my parts department. I also did all of the accounting as well as janitor and anything else that needed to be done.

Wow, twenty years has passed! We were planning a huge 20 th Anniversary Open House but because of the virus situation not only is that cancelled but now we have to work on the immediate future. Who would have ever thought after making it twenty years that it has come to something like this.

Well, we have made it twenty years and we will make it to thirty! I have the best staff and customers one could ever dream of and I know we have the enthusiasm, staff and recipe that will insure we get through this.

We are open during this situation because we are classified an essential business and are following all CDC recommendations to insure that you can feel secure when doing business with us. We have also greatly extended our pick-up and delivery services.

So many people and businesses have a great struggle ahead but we are Americans and we will prevail!

Let’s keep riding and when we all get through this we can get together and celebrate.

Superleggera V4:

The most powerful production Ducati ever..

The last time Ducati built a bike like this was 2016’s 1299 Superleggera. A lot has changed at Ducati since then, most notably the production V4, so it was only a matter of time before a new “Superlight” was revealed.

Ducati calls it like it is: “The Superleggera V4 is the most powerful and technologically advanced production Ducati ever built.” They’re also quick to point out that the Superleggera is the only street-legal motorcycle available with a full carbon fiber chassis and wheels. The fairing is also carbon fiber, of course. Only 500 will be made.
