About the Panigale
The ride: Designed from scratch for track performance with more everyday ease, with a modest drop between seat and bars that keeps weight off your arms and high footpegs that allow deep lean without locking your knees.
What stands out: A new 890cc 90-degree V2 with variable timing that weighs 54.4 kg (120 lb), a 43mm Öhlins NIX30 fork and Öhlins shock, and Brembo M50 calipers on 320mm front discs.
Living with it: 17 kg (37 lb) lighter than the previous model, with passive ventilation ducts that reduce heat, and cornering ABS, traction, wheelie and engine brake levels you can change on the 5 in TFT while riding.
