Meet Our 2013 Team

All of our Service Staff are factory trained to the highest level.
No one can better service and maintain your motorcycle.

Our Service Facility is the Press fleet center for Ducati
and Victory Motorcycles. If these company’s
trust us with their most important bikes then you can too!

Service Manager
"TJ" Tom Jackson
tj@socalmotorcycles.com

He’s seen a lot running his own custom bike shop before coming
here 8 years ago. His favorite brand? “Ducati is sex on wheels
and Victory to cruise forever.” TJ says the most overlooked service point
on a bike is chain lubing and tire pressure. His first bike
was a brand new Honda 90 in 1968 that he bought for
the cheap transportation and freedom.

Assistant Service Manager/Service Writer
Alan Mottes

alan@socalmotorcycles.com

Alan was trained in sales and communication from SeaRay Boats
and certified to train and was awarded by Glenn Roller Institute.
Alan has been riding for 37 years. His favorite place to ride is
in the mountains and he loves it because it’s “good mental therapy.”
According to him tire pressure is the most overlooked maintenance
on a motorcycle. When he isn’t at work he liked to spend time
with his dog and 3 bearded dragons, go surfing and 4x4-ing.

Danny

Danny has been working on motorcycles 13 of the 18 years
he’s been a rider. He’s worked here 9 years and is a
Ducati Master Technician. He loves the adrenalin rush
you get from riding, which might explain why he has
three motorcycles. When not at work he loves
spending time with his son.

Mario

Jonathan

Jonathan has been riding for 5 years and loves
the way it feels. His first buy was a Honda CR250R.
“Never exceed your skill level” is his advice to riders.
Something interesting about him: he’s really patient
and loves dancing Argentinean Tango.

Mike

Mike’s first purchase was a Kawasaki 750 Ninja.
He’s been working on bikes for 12 years and he loves
the comfort of his current 2004 Victory Kingpin.
When he’s not at work servicing bikes he builds race
engines and works on his 1973 Corvette Stingray.

Andrew

Andrew currently rides a Ducati Monster SR1000
and has worked here for 4 years. His favorite place
to ride is
Glendora Mountain Road and he loves riding
because he can avoid traffic. When he isn’t here
he also works as a paramedic, and when he’s
not working he loves spending time with
his daughter and mountain biking.

Service Special

While a bike is in for tire replacement, if we see you need new brake pads on the tire we are replacing, we will install the brake pad for free, if brake pads are purchased from us at time of tire replacement.
