Tom Hicks

Tom has a long history in the motorcycle industry as a racer, technician, product research engineer, press relations specialist, club president, dealership owner and much more. He has a passion for flying WWII airplanes, playing in his band (P-51) and riding all of his motorcycles. Tom remains focused though on keeping So Cal Motorcycles the Number One Dealership of its kind in the U.S.

Rob’s been riding since he was 5 years old and loves to ride the streets of Willow, Miller and Barber Motorsports Parks and Laguna Seca Raceway. He has 27 years of experience in the automotive, marine and motorcycle industry and his first purchase was a 1983 Honda CR125.

She’s a Ducati woman through and through. It’s her favorite brand and she represents by riding a Monster (and even has a Ducati tattoo!). Cyndy’s been riding for 12 years and worked here since the shop opened. Her favorite ride is from So Cal to Laguna Seca (“the twisty version”) and Italy.

Ramy doesn't ride yet, but he's got his eye on the Suzuki Hayabusa for when he does. His interest in the car industry got him into motorcycles, and he loves hearing the engines revving throughout the day. He enjoys going to as many car shows as he can, and even ran his own online magazine about car culture in other countries!

The freedom and adventure are what Chris loves about riding. Having grown up in the deserts of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, he started on dirt bikes and ATV’s, riding with US Marines and their boys. Now he’s happy on the streets and freeways of the US.

His first bike was a Kawasaki ZR-7 but he currently rides a Triumph Tiger 800XC and is about to get a Speed Triple. He likes long rides/road trips. His first long solo trip was from San Diego to Yellowstone to Minnesota and back through the rocky mountains. When he isn't riding he also enjoys sailing and tries to go out on the water as much as he can.

He currently rides his dream bike, a 2015 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special. His favorite brand is Yamaha, and his first bike was a 1979 Yamaha YZ80. His favorite place to ride is in the mountains and he also enjoys poker runs and watching supercross. He's been working with bikes for 14 of the 36 years he's been riding them. Cesar has been riding since he was 10 years old, and it’s something that runs in his family. He loves the freedom, stress relief, and adrenaline rush that motorcycling brings, and his favorite places to ride are Heber Dunes and Golfo De Santa Clara. Cesar loves everything about motorcycles and cars and has built an ’06 Yamaha Banshee and a 1965 Ford Mustang, both from the ground up.

Bryan rides a 2003 Suzuki GSX-R600 and has been riding for 3 years. His favorite part about riding is the feeling you get that is fueled by the twist of a throttle. He enjoys riding to see his family and loves working in an industry he’s so passionate about. He advises new riders to enjoy the ride, enjoy the machine, and ride at your own pace. Fun fact: Bryan is a geography buff, enjoys bodybuilding, and is an avid comic book reader.

Taz came to work at So Cal in 2006 and immediately showed his management prowess. He overlooks dealership operations from his plush office in the Accounting Department. Taz’s favorite responsibility is inspecting stuff in bags, and he is quite good at it. For fun, Taz enjoys playing ball and singing, especially to songs by Robert Plant and Dean Martin.
